In your initial session, the therapist will gather background information, listen to your concerns, and collaborate with you on creating a treatment plan. Typically, sessions are weekly or bi-weekly. All therapists are trained in Trauma-Focused CBT, EMDR, and view mental health from a holistic perspective. Self-Pay or Insurance accepted.

Our Therapist, Bethany Fletcher, offers therapy for couples to process and explore their thoughts, emotions, attachments, and behaviors in order to facilitate change, collectively. Structured premarital (and marital) counseling offered using Prepare/Enrich.

Typically, sessions are weekly or bi-weekly. Couples therapy is only offered in-person. Self-Pay or Insurance accepted.

This is for individuals seeking official documentation of an emotional support animal for their mental health needs. We will facilitate one session to gather background information, explore current symptoms, and discuss the impact of an emotional support animal. ESA letters are often valid for one year and we can provide annual reviews as needed.

ESA letters can also be requested by ongoing clients with a $75 document fee paid by client.

Both Claire and Bethany can provide clinical supervision for LSWs working towards clinical licensure. LSWs are required to obtain 4 hours of supervision per month while they are employed over the course of 24 months. The length of each supervision meeting will be determined after starting and will be charged at a monthly rate.

A Healing Journey therapists have extensive knowledge to share with other professionals. Claire and Bethany each have experience in trauma-informed care and trauma interventions. Both therapists also have their CSAYC license and can provide education surrounding maladaptive sexual behaviors as well as sexual abuse/trauma. Claire practices with her therapy dog, Teddy, and can provide education on animal assisted therapy interventions.
